Ilide Carmignani, translator, counts among her authors: Almudena Grandes, Arturo Pérez-Reverte, Javier Marías, Roberto Bolaño, Jorge Luis Borges or Gabriel García Márquez.

She has received several awards like the Italian National Translation Award or the "Bodini" Award for the new translation of One Hundred Years of Solitude.

Since 2000 he has curated AutoreInvisibile, professional meetings on editorial translation, for the Turin Book Fair, and since 2003 she has organized, together with Professor Arduini, the "Giornate della Traduzione Letteraria" (FUSP). She has published the books Gli autori invisibili (Besa, 2008) and Storia di Luis Sepúlveda e del suo gatto Zorba (Salani, 2021).
