Matthias Naumann
Writer, translator and publisher
Matthias Naumann is a writer, translator and publisher. He studied theatre, film and media studies in Frankfurt am Main and Tel Aviv, and since then has been involved in many theatre productions. In 2011, he founded Neofelis Verlag, Berlin, which he has been director of since then. He also works as a playwright, curator and dramaturge. He translates plays from Hebrew, by Hanoch Levin for example. He received a Eurodram award in 2019 for his translation of Amsterdam by Maya Arad-Yasur.
