German will be the Guest of Honour Language at this year’s international book fair in Turin (Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, 9-13 May 2024 (#SalTo24)). Twenty-five German-language authors will be featured as part of “Literature Parade. Guest Language German at #SalTo24”, the theme of the exhibition stand and programme on the fairgrounds and in the city, which is being jointly organised by Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

For the 75th time, Frankfurter Buchmesse (18 - 22 October 2023) will open its doors in October and celebrate hundreds of stories and the authors behind them. Under the motto Re:connect, the international publishing industry will come together at Frankfurter Buchmesse (20-24 October 2021). An all-digital professional programme will take place in the run-up to the book fair week from 11 to 15 October 2021 for the first time. Tickets for Frankfurt Conference go on sale on 22 September 2021. Registration for various formats, which are in part free of charge, is already open.
