Translation from and into non-hegemonic languages is necessary to preserve and transmit the knowledge of these territories to other languages and cultures. But what contribution do these aspects bring to the current literary scene and why is it important to continue to develop similar projects? This round table will present the cooperation between the association Ametli and the publishing house Ediciones del Lirio based on a co-production between New Zealand and Mexico, as an example of texts written and translated in territories from and into non-hegemonic languages and linguistic variants.
