We want to offer all participants a good fair experience - regardless of gender and gender identity, sexual orientation and identity, disabilities, ethnic origin, nationality, age, language, religion or world view. We do not tolerate harassment or inappropriate language of any kind towards our visitors, exhibitors, partners or team members. The comprehensive Code of Conduct is part of the House Rules for Frankfurter Buchmesse and can be found here:

Code of Conduct

Frankfurter Buchmesse's House Rules state that the organiser or third parties may take photographs, film and video recordings throughout the event for the purposes of reporting, advertising and documentation.

Checks on access authorisations and luggage must be expected at all times throughout the exhibition grounds.

Weapons, replicas of weapons (‘ mock weapons’), pocketknives and irritant sprays are prohibited on the exhibition grounds. Cosplay weapons that are not ‘simulated weapons’ will be given a clearly visible label at the entrances.

Queues at the entrances are unavoidable at peak times. Allow enough time, use the cloakrooms in front of the entrances and take as little luggage as possible onto the exhibition grounds.
