Jana is responsible for market facts at the German Publishers and Booksellers Association. Figures like sales data, the number of new releases, translations, sold licences etc. pass her desk. Another focus lies on behaviour and social demographics of book buyers – and also of the (unloved) non-buyers. Jana has been working for Börsenverein for 9 years, after 10 years in market research institutes, most recently in one of the German top institutes (GIM).
