Dr Jessica Sänger is Director for European and international Affairs at Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels (German publishers and booksellers association). In this role, she is responsible for representing the interests of the book sector at EU and United Nations institutions and for relations with the association's umbrella organisations. From 2019 to 2024, she was Chair of the Copyright Committee of the International Publishers Association. Ms Sänger joined Börsenverein in 2008, where she was Deputy Head of the Legal Department from 2011.
