Helen Blount

Helen Blount is the Metadata Manager at Usborne Publishing. In 2024, Usborne achieved the prestigious Gold BIC accreditation for the first time, maintaining this standard for 2025. They are also the proud recipients of this year’s IPG Metadata Award.

Helen began her trade publishing career in operations at DK and Rough Guides. Her subsequent roles have included Programme Manager at DK, a position on the Bibliographic team at Penguin Random House, and a secondment to the Penguin and Random House systems merger project.

As a dedicated super-user and super-fan of BiblioSuite, she is delighted to be in conversation with the Virtusales team.
