Nguyen Huu Quynh Huong
Nguyen Huu Quynh Huong is the Founder of Slowbooks, a Vietnamese publishing house dedicated to creating and promoting contemporary children's picturebooks, and the Founder of the Vietnam Children's Picturebook Festival, the first festival in Vietnam devoted to picturebooks. Over the past decade, she has worked to bring Vietnamese children's books to international audiences through rights sales, translation partnerships, and cross-cultural collaborations. Her publishing projects focus on nature, climate change, emotional well-being, and Vietnamese cultural identity. Quynh Huong is also a researcher in children's literature and Oriental Studies, exploring how contemporary picturebooks shape cultural identity and connect local stories with global readers.
