Rachel Ghiazza oversees Audible’s global content strategy and is a dynamic force behind the company’s innovation and investment in original programming. Rachel joined Audible in 2019 and most recently served as EVP and Head of U.S. Content. During her tenure, Rachel has helped grow Audible as the leading creator and provider of premium audio storytelling content, developing new genre-bending categories and forging unique collaborations with leading creative voices. Rachel is committed to ensuring that Audible content represents people across a diverse range of backgrounds and has built long-standing relationships with renowned artists working to amplify underrepresented voices in the entertainment industry. Her accomplishments include supporting the launch and development of Audible Plus, developing in-house brands such as Audible Theater and Words + Music, the launch of Dolby Atmos on Audible, and leading Audible’s multi-project collaborations with entertainment industry powerhouses such as Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company Higher Ground, Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment and James Patterson Entertainment. Under her stewardship, Audible content has won some of the most prestigious awards in media, including duPont-Columbia, Walkley, Rose D’Or, Gracie and George Polk – and has been named Podcast Company of the Year once by the Webbys and twice by the Signal Awards. In 2024, Rachel was named one of Variety’s 500 most influential business leaders shaping the global media industry. She has been featured in the New York Times, Variety, the Hollywood Reporter, the Wall Street Journal and more. She has an MBA from the University of Southern California. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and dog.
