AI is the newest member of the research ecosystem. It can write and read, search and synthesize, and it’s an amplifier. It can amplify access, understanding, connections, and ultimately the impact of research. But it can also amplify inaccuracies, bias, and existing inefficiencies.

As we build the knowledge infrastructure for the AI era, what if we’re focused so much on protecting existing value in the system that we miss out on opportunities to make the system multiply knowledge for bigger impact?
