Numerous events to feature authors, translators, legal experts and other specialists on the topic of AI in publishing

From ChatGPT to copyright issues – the trending topic of artificial intelligence will be getting considerable attention at this year’s Frankfurter Buchmesse (18-22 October 2023). Does artificial intelligence have artistic talent? How do texts written by humans differ from those created with the help of AI? And who owns the rights to those texts? Those are some of the issues that will be discussed at the 75th Frankfurter Buchmesse by Robert M. Harington from the American Mathematical Society, linguist Naomi S. Baron, bestselling authors Maja Lunde and Noah Charney, author and Shimmr AI CEO Nadim Sadek, university professor and AI expert Katharina Zweig, founder and tech expert Mina Saidze, copyright and media law specialist Florian Wagenknecht, and many others.
