Christopher Tauber (*1979) lives in Frankfurt (Main). He is self-employed as illustrator, author and editor and is co-chief publisher at Germany's oldest Independent-comic publishing house Zwerchfell. As a kid he was scared of almost everything, also of listening to the "Die drei ???" tapes. Somewhen he realized that every case of Die drei ??? turns out good and from 2013 on he is working as illustrator and author for the series, published by KOSMOS Verlag.
