Editor
Editions Dupuis

Editor, writer, director, translator and publisher Doug Headline wrote his first comic book scripts for 'Métal Hurlant' magazine in the 1980s. He then founded Zenda publishing, which he ran until 1994 before moving on to work in television and film. In 2009, he began adapting the works of his father, crime fiction novelist J-P Manchette, with artist Max Cabanes as graphic novels for Dupuis' Aire Libre imprint. Returning to editorial tasks for Dupuis in 2014, he currently works with over 30 writers and artists and co-directs the Aire Noire imprint, while simultaneously scripting graphic adaptations of novels by Richard Stark, Donald Westlake, Jean Ray, and Jack Vance, as well as original stories.
