Lisa Quinn

Lisa Quinn is the Executive Director of McGill-Queen’s University Press, headquartered in Montreal, Canada. She began her twenty-year career in scholarly publishing at Wilfrid Laurier University Press as an acquisitions editor, then as director in 2016 before joining MQUP in 2023. She is currently the president of the Association of Canadian Publishers, representing over 115 Canadian English-language publishers. She has previously served as president of the Association of Canadian University Presses and the Ontario Book Publisher’s Organization, on the Board of Directors of Livres Canada Books, and held various committee chairs for the Association of University Presses. She is a regular contributor to international publishing discussions and events, and has hosted residencies and sponsored visiting publishers from across Canada and the world.
