The Book Market in Europe 2025/2026: main data and trends

In what has become a highlight at Frankfurter Buchmesse, the Federation of European Publishers brings on stage its traditional book market data show. FEP’s Deputy Director and Economist Enrico Turrin will once again present the detailed data collected by FEP through its annual statistical survey of the European book market, with detailed data on turnover, sales, production and the evolution of formats and trade channels in 2025, plus an outline of how the main markets have performed thus far in 2026. The event will open with an introduction by FEP President, Sonia Draga.
