Carolyn Srugies
Carolyn Srugies was born in Hamburg in 1962. She is married and the mother of two grown-up children. For a long time she wrote for the drawer, until 2010, when she won the 3rd prize with a short crime novel on the occasion of the 275th anniversary of the Hamburg Commerzbibliothek. The author has published more than a dozen short stories. In 2022, her first crime novel, "Death on Lake Wocker," was published by SPICA. After several decades of handling foreign trade and customs issues in export management for a large northern German company, she now devotes herself exclusively to writing. Part two of the series about Detective Chief Inspector Henri Martensen is scheduled for publication in 2023. This time, too, he will be investigating in Mecklenburg. Since 2022, Carolyn Srugies has been the jury secretary for the 'Mörderische Schwestern e.V.' and is part of the organizing team for the LCNs Hamburg/ Schleswig-Holstein.
