Hanife İçten

Hanife was born in a village near Kütahya, Türkiye, close to Azanoi. She came to Germany as a baby with 9 months and considers herself a cosmopolitan and a Greek by heart. Hanife grew up in Cologne and studied in Münster (Germany), Cardiff (Wales), Strasbourg (France) and Frankfurt am Main. She holds a Master's degree in English Philology and loves reading in German, English and Turkish. In 2000, she started working for Frankfurter Buchmesse. Since 2017 she has been responsible for customers from the English-language world, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Greece and Cyprus. Hanife lives now on a remote German island in the North-Sea, where no cars or other vehicles are allowed.
