The global marketplace for audio content

Audiobooks, podcasts, audio software and services in the spotlight: at the fairground, in digital formats before the fair and 365 days in our media library.

The positive development of the international audio market is also reflected at Frankfurter Buchmesse: since the Frankfurt Audio Area was established in 2019, it has grown steadily. Covering 730 square metres, it offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of the spoken word and discover exciting audiobooks and podcasts, innovative audio services and software. With their own stands, workstations and at the Audiobooks Collective Exhibition, international players from the audio sector will be presenting themselves here. At the weekend, the workstation area will be transformed into a pop-up stage featuring well-known audiobook narrators, podcasters and authors.

You can also look forward to other audio-related events organised by Frankfurter Buchmesse, including several sessions of the networking format The Hof and Masterclasses throughout the year. Both formats take place digitally and, in some cases, at different locations (hybrid). In addition, there will be audio highlights at international events organised by Frankfurter Buchmesse, such as Contec in Latin America.
