Comics, manga and webtoons are booming worldwide – including in the licensing business. Frankfurter Buchmesse 2025 invites visitors to exchange ideas and network:

Comics Business Centre (Hall 6.1): International publishers and agencies showcase comics, manga and webtoons. They trade rights – from book series to digital stories for smartphones. A happy hour on Wednesday and Thursday (5 p.m. each day) offers additional space for discussions and new deals.

Guest of Honour Philippines with its own stand in the Comics Business Centre (6.1 A 38), presenting the broad spectrum of Philippine comics.

Komiks: Philippines takes center stage (30 July 2025). A virtual pitching and networking event — featuring comics from Frankfurter Buchmesse’s Guest of Honour 2025: the Philippines.

Fireside Chat: Comics on the rise (7 October 2025) – Informal online talk as part of the Frankfurt Masterclass.

Guided tour on Wednesday for trade visitors, leading straight into happy hour.
