What does translation mean for blind people? A lecture by DIALOGMUSEUM Frankfurt that looks at translation from a different perspective and shows surprising parallels to text-based translation.

Speakers:

- Maureen Ekizoglu (DIALOGMUSEUM, Shareholder and Managing Director)

- Petrine Waagö (DIALOGMUSEUM, Team coordination and quality assurance DIALOG IM DUNKELN)

The DIALOGMUSEUM is an adventure museum and social enterprise. It houses DIALOG IM DUNKELN - an exhibition on the discovery of the invisible: Small groups of visitors are guided by blind and visually impaired guides through a lightless, scenographic exhibition. This creates a unique and lasting change of perspective that sensitizes and simultaneously strengthens the themes of inclusion, empathy and dialogue.

An activity of Frankfurter Buchmesse and ALDUS UP, the network of European book fairs funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
