How can stories preserve dignity when lives and heritage are at risk? In this session, writer-bookseller Mahmoud Muna and author Matthew Teller — editors of Daybreak in Gaza: Stories of Palestinian Lives and Culture — join journalist and author Alena Jabarine to explore the people, traditions, and creative resilience of Gaza. Drawing on first-hand accounts and vivid reporting, they reflect on how literature and cultural memory keep communities visible amid loss — and why safeguarding Palestinian culture matters more than ever. Participants: Mahmoud Muna, Matthew Teller
Moderation: Alena Jabarine
