Che-Wei Kuo was born in Taiwan in 1996. He is presently pursuing his master's and concert exam studies with Prof. Michael Sanderling at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts.
The cellist has achieved great results in competitions, including the 2019 Lithuanian International Cello Competition and the Bad Homburg Chamber Music Competition. In addition, the cellist was supported by Live Music Now, the Society of Friends and Sponsors of the HfMDK and as part of the Germany Scholarship. He currently plays a modern cello made by Urs W. Mächler.
