Christoph Müller

Dr. Christoph Müller works at the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin as deputy director of the library, director of the Digital Library Department, and director of the collections on Central America, Colombia, Venezuela, and the Spanish-speaking Caribbean. 

His research interests include digital transformation in libraries and Latin American literature from the 19th to the 21st centuries (specifically comics, (fan)zines, and science fiction).

He is the principal investigator of Mecila: Maria Sibylla Merian International Centre for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences Conviviality-Inequality in Latin America, Vice President of REDIAL —European Network for Information and Documentation on Latin America—and European coordinator of the Latindex journal information system. 

He is also a member of the board of directors of the Association of German Librarians and spokesperson for the Committee Library & Information Germany (BID) of Bibliothek & Information International.
