Gina Mayer studied graphic design and worked as an advertising copywriter before she started writing books. In the meantime, she has published many novels for children, young people and adults. Her works have been nominated for the German-French Youth Literature Prize and the Hansjörg Martin Prize, among others, and have been awarded the Leipzig Reading Compass. Gina Mayer lives in Düsseldorf.
