Publisher at Aurora Boreal, a Danish publishing house that focuses on the translation into Danish of quality literature written in Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan and Basque. Today, Aurora Boreal has more than 80 Spanish-American authors translated into Danish. Camacho is also co-organiser of the Copenhagen Literature Festival with the University of Copenhagen, a festival that has been held continuously once a year in September since 2013.
