Ingrid Noll, born in Shanghai in 1935, studied German and art history in Bonn. She is the mother of three grown-up children and a grandmother of four. After the children left home, she began writing crime stories, all of which became bestsellers. In 2005 she received the Friedrich-Glauser Honorary Award of the authors for her complete works. / "Tea Time"
