Lars Claßen, born in 1981, is publisher and co-founder of Kjona Verlag. Before that, he worked for many years as an editor and program manager for leading trade publishers (including Suhrkamp and dtv). He has rediscovered James Baldwin for the German book market and mentored bestselling authors such as Celeste Ng and Graham Swift.
