Layal Al-Rustom

Layal Al-Rustom is a board member of Diwan Bookstore and a co-founder of Diwan Books. She’s a graduate of University of King’s College in Canada, with a combined honours degree in Contemporary philosophy and Mathematics. But above all her passion for books and culture made her pursue her first job as a bookseller in Diwan, then a bookstore manager at Diwan, then the marketing and Events manager. Today, Layal is putting all her passion into expanding Diwan’s publishing arm, Diwan Books, from her position as a Publishing Director.
