Nicolás Leyton
Nicolás Leyton, who studied literature and linguistics at the Universidad Católica in Chile and also completed his Master's degree in media management, currently works as an editor. He worked for 10 years in various print media and as a university professor. Since 2010, he has been a partner in the publishing house La Pollera Ediciones, which he founded. He is general manager, and also responsible for book projects and publication. At the end of 2022, he additionally started working at Big Sur, the distribution company based in Chile and Argentina, where he is responsible for New Business. In 2024, he led a study to characterise the Chilean publishing industry in the context of the invitation to Chile to be the Guest of Honor at Frankfurt 2027.
