Orit Btesh

Orit Miriam Haratz de Btesh is a Panamanian businesswoman recognised for her leadership in the cultural, educational and business spheres. In the private sector, she is the chairwoman and owner of Hombre de la Mancha and the publishing house Ediciones HDLM, having established this brand as a cultural benchmark in the country. 

She currently chairs the Panamanian Publishers Associtation, where she drives the development of the publishing sector and the promotion of reading, including the Panama International Book Fair. She i spart of the Junta de Síndicos de Ciudad del Saber. She also heads the Hombre de la Mancha Foundation. In the social sphere, she has participated in initiatives such as Emet Panamá and Marcha por la Vida.
