Senja Požar
Senja Požar, M.Sc., has nearly three decades of experience in the publishing industry, where she has held senior editorial and leadership roles across educational, reference, magazine, and digital textbook publishing. Her positions have included Editor and Developer in digital publishing, Editor-in-Chief of the Reference Book Department, Editorial Director in educational publishing, and Editor-in-Chief of magazines. Since 2016, she has led international cooperation initiatives for Slovenia’s two largest publishing houses, Mladinska knjiga and Cankarjeva založba, contributing to major international projects, including Frankfurt 2023 and Bologna 2024, where Slovenia was prominently featured. She founded the Ljubljana Book Academy to support Filipino and other international authors at Frankfurt 2025. Senja serves as Managing Editor of the Journal for Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development (JAISD) and Financial Lead at IRCAI under UNESCO at the Jožef Stefan Institute. She has been a member of Publishers Without Borders since 2020.
