Simone Lippold is working as Head of Business Development and Consultant Funding Strategy for the CEO of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association. She studied business administration in Kempten and Oviedo (Spain). After gaining several years of professional experience as an event manager, she started working at Frankfurter Buchmesse GmbH in 2012. She took on responsibility as Manager Sponsor Relationships before she joined the team of project managers in 2016. At the end of 2019, she transferred to the German Publishers and Booksellers Association and took over the lead of business development for the entire group. Simone contributes significantly to the establishment and expansion of the EU network of the Börsenverein Group and initiates numerous projects. She is a German native speaker, speaks English and Spanish fluent as well as French very well.
Simone is also one of the driving forces behind the pilot project creativeSHIFT which, together with six other European partners, is set to hack the biggest tech-triggered challenges facing Europe’s content sectors and to shape the future landscape of content innovation.
