Where the international rights community meets

At the Literary Agents & Scouts Centre (LitAg), literary agents and scouts from around the world come together for international rights and licensing business. A dedicated, fully equipped workspace provides the right setting for scheduled meetings, negotiations and focused work. With access from the Tuesday before the fair opens, you can use Frankfurter Buchmesse efficiently for your appointments from the very start.

The LitAg is exclusively reserved for independent literary and scouting agencies. If your company does not meet these criteria, please book a table in the Publishers Rights Centre instead.

When booking a table, you receive the following basic features:

  • A table, four chairs, lockable bench cabinet, coat hook and power connection (incl. socket)
  • Company sign and WiFi internet access
  • Admission Pass (agent ticket)
  • Admission from Tuesday before the fair
  • Admission control – access only for guests with an appointment
  • Entry in the Exhibitor Directory and the Calendar of Events

What is changing 2027?

At the weekend, any agents and rights managers having booked a table in the PRC and wanting to arrange meetings and doing rights and licensing business will be able to do so in a different business area on the fairgrounds.

The rights trade in Frankfurt has been thriving and our Literary Agents & Scouts Centre and the Publishers Rights Centre have been fully booked in the past years. However, the costs for the space on the fairgrounds have increased significantly.

In order to keep price increases to a minimum, we are adapting our offer in 2027 to the needs of our customers. This is why – from 2027 on – we will provide tables in the LitAg and the PRC from Tuesday till Friday, but will re-purpose this space during the weekend.

The vast majority of agents and rights managers schedule their business meetings on the weekdays during the fair and customers who have booked a table in the LitAg or PRC  and wish to schedule meetings at the weekend, are welcome to contact us.

Our team will be happy to help arrange suitable meeting space in one of our business areas at the fairgrounds: litag@buchmesse.de

After having booked your table in the PRC, please simply reach out to litag@buchmesse.de and we will help to arrange a suitable meeting space in one of our business areas at the fairgrounds.
