This event will explore how identifying accessible stories found in children’s books introduce climate change to young audiences and how those books help them relate to global issues and being part of the solution. The United Nations SDG Book Club for children focuses on the topic of sustainability and has been expanding its reading initiative globally in many languages (with a newly launched German Club), including a reading list for Sustainable Development Goal13: Climate Action and hopes to continue to inspire action in children’s communities.
