Martina Stemann heads the newly created Sustainability area of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association. The aim is to anchor sustainability as a strategic goal in the book trade, to bundle concrete measures and to implement them with all players in the publishing business. Martina has been part of the book industry for more than 15 years in various positions. She was responsible for international projects and business development at the Frankfurt Book Fair. As Director of Shared Value Creation and CSR, she implemented sustainability projects in South America/Peru.
