Reading and discussion with Anna Freixas about a self-determined, diverse and dignified life in old age

Anna Freixas' new book is a wake-up call for all women over 60 to stand together for justice, dignity, self-determination and freedom and to be proud of their age.

Anna Freixas writes cheekily, directly and with a lot of humour about what it means to be an old woman. In doing so, she denounces all the negative notions of old age and prevailing imperatives of »eternal youth« that make the individuality of old people. She provides numerous ideas for resistance for a new generation of old women and encourages them to claim control over their own lives.

»Me the old woman!« is the starting point for an intergenerational discourse that understands old age as something normal, positive and powerful.

The event will be held in Spanish and German.
