Barbaros Altuğ is a writer and LGBTQIA+ activist from Turkey. He worked as a journalist and also as a columnist for the daily Taraf. In 1999, he founded the first Turkish literary agency in Istanbul. He lives and works in Berlin, where he is a fellow of PEN's Writers in Exile programme.
