Frankfurter Buchmesse ends with significant increase in visitors

The 71st Frankfurter Buchmesse ended today, with a significant increase in the number of visitors of 8.3 percent at the weekend and a rise of 3.7 percent on the trade visitor days. In 2019, the fair welcomed a total of 302,267 visitors, an increase of 6.0 percent compared to last year.

German will be the Guest of Honour Language at this year’s international book fair in Turin (Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, 9-13 May 2024 (#SalTo24)). Frankfurter Buchmesse launches global campaign “Create Your Revolution” to celebrate culture as a driver of innovation

This year’s Frankfurter Buchmesse (16-20 October 2019) is putting culture back at the center of global discussion. Together with the United Nations and Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels (German Publishers & Booksellers Association), Frankfurter Buchmesse is launching the global campaign “Create Your Revolution – Initiative For The Future Of Culture”.

On 3 May 2024, representatives of Frankfurter Buchmesse and Messe Frankfurt signed the extension of the contract until the end of 2028.
