Andrea López studied fine arts at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. She has worked in book marketing since 1994. She worked in sales at the publishing house of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. Afterwards, she became a bookseller. From 2007 to 2011, she managed the bookshop of the Fondo de Cultura Económica in the Gabriel García Márquez Cultural Centre in Bogotá. Between 2011 and 2012, she was head of Ediciones Generales at the Prisa Colombia publishing group. From 2013 to 2020, she was responsible for sales and communication at Adriana Hidalgo Editora in Buenos Aires. Since 2021, she has been advising various Latin American bookshops and publishers in the areas of publication and marketing.
