Claudia Cabrera has been translating specialist and popular books from German since 1995, and literature and theatre since 2002. She was awarded the Bellas Artes Prize for Literary Translation Margarita Michelena 2020. She is a member of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte, FONCA. She is also a founding member and president of the Asociación Mexicana de Traductores Literarios (Ametli).
