Elena Neira is a professor in the Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. She is a Business Insider columnist and works as an audiovisual consultant. She has extensive expertise in new online audiovisual distribution models, new audiovisual consumption models, audiovisual system structure, streaming platforms, subscription models as well as film and television series. Elena is a Dual Master’s Degree graduate from UDC (Universidade de A Coruña) and UOC (Universitar Oberta de Catalunya).
