Ezequiel Martínez

Ezequiel Martínez is cultural manager and journalist, in 2021 he was appointed Executive Director of Fundación El Libro, the organization that oversees, among other events, the Buenos Aires International Book Fair—the largest book fair in the Spanish-speaking world. In 1990, he joined the editorial staff of the newspaper Clarín, where, after 26 years, he retired as General Editor of the Culture section and of Ñ, the Argentine newspaper’s cultural magazine. Between 2016 and 2020, he served as Director of Culture at the National Library of the Argentine Republic. Since 2010, he has served as president of the Tomás Eloy Martínez Foundation, dedicated to preserving and promoting the work of the Argentine writer and to fostering literary and journalistic creation among young Ibero-American authors.
