Mirna Brođanac

Writer, Librarian & Professor of Croatian Language and Literature

Mirna Brođanac is a professor of Croatian language and literature, librarian and writer born in 1992. She completed her studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, and currently studying for a PhD in Information and Communication Sciences there. In July 2019, Mirna participated in a creative writing workshop led by Canadian-Croatian writer Josip Novaković. Her stories were published in the electronic journal of the Croatian writer Miljenko Jergović "The Eiffel Bridge" and in the printed journal of the Istrian branch of the Croatian Writers' Association "New Istria". Mirna has also had several poems published in a joint book of poetry by 10 wonderful women poets called " Connection“

In May of this year, her first book, the picture book "Lana's School" was published.

As of lately, Mirna has been working on her first novel and first poetry book.
